Avinash Suryawanshi is a Consultant Endocrinologist, Director of Diabetes Service at Concord Repatriation General Hospital and a Clinical Lecturer at The University of Sydney.
Dr Suryawanshi was trained in endocrinology at Concord Repatriation General Hospital and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, prior to obtaining fellowship from Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). He also has wealth of overseas experience in Internal Medicine as evidenced by fellowship from College of Physicians and Surgeons, Mumbai and postgraduate Diplomat National Board, New Delhi India.

Dr Suryawanshi maintains high standards of clinical practice and strongly supports the concept of individualised patient care. Cardiologist Dr. Kaivan Vaidya

Dr Kaivan Vaidya is a Sydney based cardiologist with a special interest in coronary artery disease; as well as echocardiography, cardiovascular risk assessment, pacing, and valvular heart disease.

After graduating from Sydney Boys High School as Dux, Dr Kaivan Vaidya completed his undergraduate medicine degree at the University of New South Wales with Honours. He subsequently completed both Basic Physician Training and Advanced Training in Cardiology at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney. During this time, Dr Kaivan Vaidya also obtained a Master of Medicine in Clinical Epidemiology at Sydney University. He is currently an Interventional Cardiology Fellow at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, and has published extensively in peer reviewed journals on the role of atheroinflammation in coronary artery disease, and potential pharmacological modulators of this process. Dr Kaivan Vaidya was also nominated for the prestigious Ralph Reader Prize at the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand in 2017 for his research.

Dr Arora is a paediatric cardiologist who specializes in diagnosis and management of children with complex congenital cardiac conditions. He qualified as a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (Paediatric and child health division), in 2012. He obtained extensive training in paediatric cardiology at national and international centres of excellence. Following his paediatric cardiology training at Children’s Hospital Westmead and Sydney Children’s Hospital, he travelled to Canada to pursue advanced training in paediatric cardiology.

At Burwood Specialists, I offer prompt evaluation of children up to 17 years of age with suspected cardiac conditions. Diagnostic services offered at the clinic include paediatric echocardiogram and ECG.

Dr Keval Pandya is a consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist, providing quality services in endoscopy, luminal gastrointestinal disease and liver disease. Dr Pandya completed his M.B.B.S from the University of New South Wales in 2012, graduating with Honours. He completed his basic physician training and advanced training in gastroenterology at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, a tertiary referral centre and liver transplantation unit. He then completed a fellowship year at Blacktown Hospital with an emphasis on inflammatory bowel disease and therapeutic endoscopy.

Dr Pandya’s services include the comprehensive investigation, diagnosis and management of iron deficiency anaemia, oesophageal disorders (including reflux disease, eosinophilic oesophagitis and motility disorders), dyspepsia, irritable bowel syndrome, coeliac disease, ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease. He has a specific interest in acute and chronic liver disease including non- alcoholic fatty liver disease, viral hepatitis and decompensated cirrhosis.

Dr Pandya is a GESA certified provider in diagnostic and therapeutic adult gastroscopy and colonoscopy. His endoscopic skills include cancer screening, management of upper and lower gastrointestinal bleeding, variceal banding and glue ligation, dilatation of strictures (oesophageal, pyloric, colonic and ileal), thermal therapy for angioectasia and radiation proctitis, polypectomy, endoscopic mucosal resection (advanced polyps, early cancers) and percutaneous gastrostomy tube insertion.

He has completed a masters degree in clinical epidemiology at the University of Sydney and actively participates in clinical research, with several publications in peer reviewed medical journals. He has attended several national and international conferences and actively participates in teaching.

Dr Harpreet Kaur Arora is a consultant Gynaecologist and an accredited advanced laparoscopic surgeon, with staff appointment at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. She also has admitting and operating rights at Mater Hospital and Strathfield Private Hospital.

She completed her Obstetrics and Gynaecology training from reputed centres in Melbourne and Brisbane. She did a year of advanced training at the Endoscopy unit, Royal Brisbane Women Hospital, and obtained competency in laparoscopic management of benign gynaecological conditions. After attaining her royal college fellowship in 2015, she undertook sub-speciality training in Urogynaecology at various national and international centres of excellence.

She has extensive experience in medical and surgical management of all benign gynaecological conditions such as fibroids, AUB and abnormal cervical cytology. She offers hysteroscopic resection and laparoscopic hysterectomy for fibroids and colposcopy for abnormal cervical cytology at the clinic. She specialises in vaginal and laparoscopic Urogynaecology and pelvic floor repair surgery for managing prolapse and incontinence.

At the clinics she offers consultative services, and has provisions for outpatient investigational and therapeutic procedures (urodynamic studies, posterior tibial nerve stimulation (PTNS) etc.).

Dr Ding is an experienced obstetrician and gynaecologist with over 20 years of clinical experience. She was trained overseas and worked in Peking Union Medical College Hospital (PUMCH 北京协和医院), Beijing, China for more than ten years before migrating to Australia. PUMCH is a tertiary hospital in China and famous for dealing with complicated medical cases from all over the country.

During her time there, Dr Ding successfully oversaw a wide range of obstetric and gynaecologic cases, and developed exceptional surgical skills.

After migrating to Australia in 2006, Dr Ding has worked across several major Sydney hospitals (Liverpool Hospital, Bankstown Hospital, Blacktown Hospital, Hornsby Hospital, Nepean Hospital, and several others). Having worked in Australia for over 10 years, she has enriched her familiarity with local clinical cases and enhanced her surgical skills, and is confidently able to address any challenges which may arise throughout your care. She received her RANZCOG fellowship in 2018 after taking the overseas-trained specialist assessment.

Dr Ding is passionate about women’s health and devotes her time to supporting her obstetric and gynaecological patients as well as their families in her pursuit to deliver the highest quality of patient-centred care.

Furthermore, she is well experienced in high-risk pregnancy, including but not limited to: pre-eclampsia, placenta accreta, gestational diabetes, twins, VBAC (vaginal birth after caesarean sections). She is committed to minimising any potential risks associated with your childbirth.
