Miralyn is a GP Specialist with more than 20 years of extensive medical experience in various settings and roles which entails in depth knowledge and understanding of health care.

She graduated from the De La Salle University Health Sciences Institute, Philippines in 2001 and moved to Australia in 2006 for further medical training.
Since then, she has worked in Concord Hospital, Canterbury Hospital, Broken Hill Base Hospital, Royal Flying Doctor Service, Prince of Wales Hospital, Wollongong Hospital, Southern IML Pathology Laboratory and
St Vincent’s Hospital (Sacred Heart Health Service).
Her extensive medical experience includes General Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Anatomical Pathology and Palliative Medicine.
She completed most of her General Practice training in Tamworth where she honed her skills in Rural/Remote Medicine and Aboriginal Medicine.
Her strong belief in providing quality health care involves taking time in getting to know patients and applying a whole person approach in her assessment and management plan.
She is a music enthusiast and a sports/fitness advocate.
